Upset about what is
happening to our brothers and sisters in Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana and other
places nationwide?
Interested in helping
make sure Oregon keeps electing pro-union, pro-collective bargaining
politicians?
Want to help educate
your brothers and sisters at your worksite on the importance of AFSCME's
political participation?
Become a PEOPLE
Coordinator!
A PEOPLE Coordinator
helps the Oregon AFSCME political team set up PEOPLE lunches or other worksite
visits and helps us educate members about the political program.
A coordinator will:
- Help identify the best times
and places to hold PEOPLE presentations;
- For some worksites this may be
lunch in a conference room – for other locals it may be coffee and
pastries before work;
- Schedule the best time and
place at your worksite for the presentation;
- Distribute materials about
PEOPLE and other political topics to AFSCME members at your local;
- Help educate your co-workers!
