For the third consecutive
year, an Oregon AFSCME contingent marched in the annual Portland Pride parade.
This year's event was held June 17.
While participation was down
because so many Council 75 member-leaders were in Los Angeles for the AFSCME
International Convention, those on hand were a spirited group that teamed with
the Oregon AFL-CIO and other unions.
Oregon AFSCME Organizer
Gloria Gonzalez spearheaded the union's participation this year. Click here
to go to a photo gallery of the parade. Once there, make sure you are in the
"Details View" (the link should take you there). It's then easiest to click on
the first picture on the upper right and, once that picture opens, use the
arrow buttons to navigate through the rest of the photo gallery.
