Are you interested in
becoming a member of AFSCME?
Creating a union is called
"organizing," and Oregon AFSCME has an Organizing Department that is ready to
help you take that step. If you and your co-workers are interested in forming a
union, we are happy to talk to you confidentially about working through the process.
Oregon AFSCME represents
public employees, public service employees, workers at private, non-profit
agencies and even some private sector employees. In other words, we can help!
If you're interested in
AFSCME membership, we urge you to contact our Organizing Director, Sue
Lee-Allen. You can e-mail
Sue, or you can phone her at (503)
239-9858 in the Portland area or (800) 792-0045 toll-free statewide. And again,
any conversations will be strictly confidential.
